Ministry mulls asking Tukar shops to sell 1Malaysia products


KUCHING: The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry is considering asking sundry shops that have joined the Small Retailers Transformation Programme (Tukar) to sell the 1Malaysia brand products while waiting for Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia (KR1M) to expand its wings to Sarawak.

According to its deputy minister Datuk Rohani Karim, KR1M outlets are currently managed by Mydin Mohamed Holding Berhad.
