THE cry of the first Malaysia Day baby filled the air of the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital (HKL) maternity ward 15 minutes after the clock struck midnight.
The mother, Noraini Roz, 24, who was in labour since 11pm on the festival’s eve, gave birth to a beautiful healthy 2.94kg baby girl at 12.15am.
