WHEN Hafiz Marzukhi received his graduation scroll from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), he couldn’t help thinking of his grandfather who didn’t live long enough to see the important day.
In July last year, Hafiz was shaken by the death of his grandfather Izzuddin Mydin from lung cancer at the age of 74.
