MALACCA: The Malacca Government is embarking on severe measures following rampant theft of metal used for public infrastructure including popular tourist destinations here.
State Housing, Local Government committee chairman Datuk Mohd Yunos Husin said among the measures proposed include close scrutiny of metal trade to curb the spate of metal thefts that had soared in recent months.
