Joint venture to boost biomass industry in Sabah


KOTA KINABALU: An agreement between Sabah’s key developer in the palm oil industry and a peninsula-based biomass company is poised to turn the potential industry a success in the state.

State-owned POIC Sabah Sdn Bhd inked a memorandum of understanding on the Joint Development of EFB (Empty Fruit Bunch) Treatment in Sabah with Kuala Lumpur-based Global Green Synergy Sdn Bhd (GGS) to boost up-take of value-adding industries using oil palm biomass.
