IN MARCH 2011, Australian entrepreneur David Bradley went on a sailing training programme with the Langkawi Sailing School based in Telaga Harbour Park Marina and just had to do something about what he saw on the eye-opening trip.
“We were sailing from Langkawi to Penang and discovered that the waters were choked with rubbish. At one point, a rice sack wrapped itself around the boat propeller and the motor stalled,” he said.
