ENFORCEMENT officers of the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry are conducting price checks on controlled food items in Penang under a price control scheme during the Hari Raya festive season.
The ministry’s Penang director Mohd Salleh Ma’amor said a monitoring team consisting of 254 officers and penghulus would conduct the checks in the state on 19 controlled items for two weeks, up to Sept 6.
