Hailing from England, Quilter has been living in Malaysia for the last six years, promoting volunteer holidays through his outfit EcoTeer where people could sign up to do volunteer work while on vacation. He first arrived in Malaysia in 2005 with the purpose of visiting the mystical Borneo island while helping the orang utans in Sabah.
