KUCHING: Certain parts of the state had experienced power failures due to a trip at Bakun Dam, which started supplying power to the state grid about a week ago.
Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) grid system operator Yong Tin Poh said the trip, which started at around 9.06am yesterday, was only less than an hour before power resumed but it lasted for a brief moment.
