KUALA TERENGGANU: Some 70 children and single mothers from lower-income families were given an early Hari Raya cheer courtesy of Grand Continental Hotel here.
The children and their mothers were treated with Hari Raya goodies and hampers as well as the customary duit raya in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan. The hotel’s general manager Bobby Anboselvan said the hotel was working with the state Welfare department in locating lower-income families.
