TWO families from Lebuh Mayang Pasir, Penang, whose houses were partially destroyed in a fire, each received RM1,500 from the TYT Disaster Relief Fund, state Welfare Department and also Pantai Jerejak assemblyman Sim Tze Tzin’s office.
No one was injured in the fire which broke out at the single-storey terrace houses. Firemen from the Jalan Tengah fire station managed to put out the fire within 10 minutes.
