PENANGITES indulged in their passion for food, carrying bags of colourful kuih and mouth-watering local favourites — all in the name of charity.
Everything from piping hot nasi lemak, an array of vegetarian fare and trays full of crispy fried chicken to fresh fruits, sandwiches and ice cream, were sold at 35 stalls to raise funds for the SIMA Handicapped Centre in the food fair at New World Park in George Town. .
