THE Penang badminton junior squad have already earned RM6,000 when cash awards were introduced to motivate the shutters for the national inter-team badminton championship last year.
This form of cash incentive has whetted their appetite and with the seventh edition of the national challenge ready to be served at the Penang Badminton Association hall on Thursday, the Penang shutters are now aiming for the top purse money of RM10,000, which the championship will offer.
