Ex-state immigration chief’s defence asks for more papers


GEORGE TOWN: The trial of a former Penang Immigration Department director charged with possessing assets in excess of his earnings has been postponed.

Sessions judge Sitarun Nisa Abdul Aziz put off the case for a day after Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy public prosecutor Anthony Kevin Morais told the court that the defence team had requested for additional documents.
