Nestle Products Sdn Bhd launched its Nestle Bliss 14-day Challenge recently to commemorate World Digestive Health Day.

The challenge was a public awareness campaign to reach out and engage the public on the importance of digestive health.

“With 70% of the body’s immune system located in the digestive tract, it is vital that our digestive health be kept at its optimal level,” said Nestle Products Sdn Bhd business executive manager Yit Woon Lai.

“The campaign serves to educate the public on the importance of maintaining a healthy digestive tract and to cultivate the good habit of making yogurt drink part of their daily diet,” she said.

After a successful run last year, Nestle Bliss is inviting Malaysians to take up the challenge to improve their gut health.

This year the campaign went further by roping in well-known radio DJs namely Farah Fauzana and Ikhwan from Hot FM and Nicholas Ong and Jane Ng from One FM to be mentors for the winners of the challenge.

Every day the announcers would contact their listeners to know the development and progress of their digestive tracts after taking on the 14-day challenge by consuming Nestle Bliss Yogurt Drink.

With a minimum of two 200ml servings per day for 14 days, consumers were able to notice a positive change in their bowel movements and also reported feeling less bloated.

Nestle Bliss yogurt drink is fortified with Inulin, a soluble fibre that promotes the growth of good bacteria or live cultures.

Consumers can now enjoy this all-natural smooth blend of low fat milk with real fruit juice.

The Nestle Bliss 14-day Challenge roadshow ended last week at Mydin Subang Jaya and Jusco Metro Prima in Kepong where the four DJs made an appearance to share their 14-day experience with the public.

Eight randomly selected listeners from each station were invited to receive tokens of appreciation from Nestle Bliss for taking up the challenge.

Farah and Ikhwan were at Mydin Subang Jaya while Nicholas and Jane were at Jusco Metro Prima, Kepong, from 11am to 12pm.

Nestle Bliss consumers and the public joined in the fun with the DJs.

In conjunction with World Digestive Health Day, Nestle Bliss value buy promotions will continue at all supermarkets and hypermarkets nationwide.
