THE Kong Ngee Ngiam Cave Temple in Gunung Rapat, Ipoh, has close affinity with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, the abbot of the Ka-Nying Shedrub Monastery in Nepal.
The temple stands where his father Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche had meditated in a cave for three months in 1972.
