BUKIT Jelutong Residents Association (BJRA) recently held a drumming session at the D’ Bayu Concourse at its neighbourhood to promote the upcoming BJ Carnival on May 28 and 29 at the Sime Darby Pavilion.
Close to 30 residents, including children, were seen happily playing the congas, bongos and djembes led and trained by drum master Steve Thornton, who has also worked with and appeared on albums by Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Sheila Majid and Siti Norhaliza, among others.
