IN the name of peace and interfaith harmony, religious and non-governmental organisation leaders led some 300 walkers on a 5km journey from the Hong Hock Si temple on Perak Road to China Street Ghaut in inner George Town before the crack of dawn.
From 4am to 9am, Pure Karma Buddhist Centre abbot Bema Dechian Doche Rinpoche and two disciples led the group comprising participants of various faiths and backgrounds in the walk.
