HOUSES converted into shops along the main roads in SS2, Petaling Jaya do not have fire safety measures which are a must for business premises, said Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, Fire Safety Division deputy director Wan Mohamad Zaidi Wan Isa.
Wan Mohamad warned that a risk assessment was required for commercial buildings where sprinklers, fire doors and smoke alarms must be installed.
