A CHARITY auction of 316 Chinese vases by the Rotary Club of Georgetown managed to raise about RM20,000 for a children’s home in Batu Maung, Penang.
About 100 people turned up for the auction themed ‘Shanghai Afternoon’ at the Suffolk House from 2.30pm to 6pm to raise money for the construction of a double-storey building for Rumah Kebajikan Seri Cahaya.
