THE Lion-Parkson Foundation (LPF) raised RM200,000 through its 2011 Chinese New Year Calligraphy Charity Sale in aid of needy students in four independent Chinese schools — Kuen Cheng High School, Confucian Private Secondary School, Chong Hwa Independent High School and Tsun Jin High School.
The sum was raised through the sale of 1,000 pieces of calligraphy sold at prices ranging from RM20 to RM10,000 at nine participating Parkson outlets in the Klang Valley over two weekends in January.
