KUCHING: Updating personal information online through an email link sent by a “bank” cost a woman RM5,000 in just a few clicks.
The 48-year-old victim, who wished to be identified only as Then, said she received a text message from the “bank” about a successful transaction of the amount seconds after she had updated her information online.
