KANOWIT: In six days last August, Deputy Education Minister Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi conducted a walkabout by visiting 27 schools in the interior of the Belaga, Kapit and Song districts.
Accompanied by officials from the State Education Department and the Education Ministry, Dr Puad travelled across long distances and rugged terrain in four-wheel-drive vehicles, speedboats, longboats and fast express boats.
