SHOP owners in Batu Gajah are now unhappy with the new rates of licence fees that they have to fork out to the district council to operate their enterprises.
The fee has apparently increased drastically for the owners — some of whom now have to pay RM1,000 from RM150 previously — after the council imposed a new fee structure based on the size of their business lot.
