SK Sri Kuala Lumpur Goh Yu Hong and SK Sungai Kapar Indah’s Asmalia Filzati Redzuan were voted as the overall champions in the boys and girls category respectively in the Milo— Selangor Schools Sports Council (MSSS) swimming championships at the Darul Ehsan Aquatic Centre in Shah Alam recently.
Yu Hong made a lasting impression in the three-day championships by winning six gold and four silver medals in the boys’ Under-12 age group while Asmalia Filzati, en route to her nine gold and one silver medals, created two new records in the girls’ Under-12 category.
