GEORGE TOWN: An officer from the Penang Municipal Council is under investigation for allegedly pocketing about RM1,000 in stall rental he had collected from hawkers since November last year.
Municipal councillor Ong Ah Teong said police were investigating the case as criminal breach of trust after traders from a hawker centre here lodged a police report last month.
