MIRI: The local economy will get a boost if the various ethnic groups continue to work together harmoniously, said Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr George Chan at Miri Chawan Association Chinese New Year lunchon at Boulevard Restaurant.
“With 27 different ethnic groups living side by side, Miri is a fine example of how 1Malaysia should be,” said Dr Chan.
