Council’s CNY do promises something different for the public


THIS year’s Kuching South City Council’s (MBKS) Chinese New Year 2011 celebration promises something different for the people.

MBKS mayor James Chan said for the first time not a single sen of the council’s money was used to organise the event because it was done with the participation of non-governmental organisations, companies and individuals.
