THE no plastic bag campaign every Saturday is fast gaining popularity in Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is hoping to get more KL-ites to embrace the green culture by creating awareness on the positive impact of recycling.
For starters, DBKL will be holding a meeting with shopping complexes, plastic bag manufacturers, residents associations, hawkers and petty traders associations in the city next week to come up with ways to wean off residents from using plastic bags.
