Club gives cash aid to victim of village fire

A FAMILY whose house was destroyed in a fire at Kampung Punau, Jalan Puncak Borneo, near Kuching on Dec 31 has received a helping hand from Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party’s (SPDP) Mambong Recreation Club.

Kuching SPDP liaison officer Capt Zainuddin Tan Sri Hamdan Sirat, who is also the club’s chairman, presented a donation of an undisclosed amount of money to the victim, Mary Dasi, 37, and her family, recently.
