CORPORATE personality Datuk Razman Hashim has known Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah for nearly 50 years since they met in the 1960s when the Sultan of Selangor was the Raja Muda.
Over the decades, Razman has been invited to many Selangor royal functions. It was not until 2001 that Razman felt bold enough to ask the Sultan if he would attend a private birthday celebration thrown by Razman in his honour.
