THE Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) has launched a busy 2011 calendar of events for Kuching Waterfront in a bid to make the ‘People’s Place’ more livelier and stamp out crime.
Tourism and Heritage Assistant Minister Datuk Talib Zulpilip, who is also SEDC chairman, said the corporation hoped to make the waterfront more family-oriented filled with community-based and cultural activities to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
