JOHOR BARU: The afternoon rain did not deter 10,000 Johoreans turned up for the Johor Sultan’s tea party with the rakyat at Dataran Bandaraya here recently to mark the ruler’s 52nd birthday celebration.
Visitors were given a chance to mingle with Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and members of the royal family who shook hands with a long queue of people waiting to meet them.
