LUCY Lingam was offered the post of kapitan some five years ago, but she had more important things on her mind then - her family.
"I was asked to fill in the form (for the kapitan post) in 2005, but I was not yet ready. I had other commitments and I needed to spend more time in my business to support my children's education," she told StarMetro a couple of days after Deepavali.
