GEORGE TOWN: There are ‘free' tours to casinos in Singapore but the visitors have to deposit a certain amount of money, said Penang Matta chapter vice-chairman Simon Saw.
"Nothing is free. From my understanding, the trips are called junkets. Each casino will require different amounts of deposit, ranging from tens of thousands of dollars and above while transport and accommodation will be free," he said.
