SARAWAKIAN athletes Pandelela Rinong Pamg, Bibiana Ng and Bryan Nickson Lomas will receive monetary incentives totalling RM115,000 from the Sarawak government for their medal-winning exploits in last month’s New Delhi Commonwealth Games.
Social Development and Urbanisation Minister Datuk Seri William Mawan Ikom said that Pandelela and Bibiana would receive RM50,000 each and Bryan RM15,000, after the state approved incentives of RM40,000 for a gold medal, RM20,000 for silver and RM10,000 for bronze. The incentive is half the amount for team events.
