DEPUTY Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk S.K Devamany and Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) chief executive Datuk Redza Rafiq are among six people who have been appointed members of the Perak Economic Council.
The other four new members are Datuk Dr Syed Jaafar Syed Aznan (former vice-president, trade and policy, of Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah), Leong Hua Kooi (senior vice-president, commercial banking, of HSBC Malaysia), Ahmad Suhaili Idrus (director of Performance Management and Delivery Unit, Pemandu, programme and data management/urban public transport) and Dr Mazalan Kamis of Institut Darul Ridzuan.
