LOCAL historian Harchand Singh Bedi and the Ex-Servicemen Association of Kuala Dipang have joined hands to build a monument in honour of those killed during the Battle of Kampar in Green Ridge.
Harchand Singh said the soldiers, who fought and survived, had told stories about the bravery of their comrades who died during the battle from Dec 30, 1941, to Jan 2, 1942.
