THE usage of paper lunch boxes under the state’s ‘Cleaner Greener Penang’ initiative is gaining momentum as more corporate bodies are coming forward as sponsors.
State Health, Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh said companies were showing interest by having advertisements on the box and this had made it more affordable for hawkers to use the food grade paper lunch box.
