THE long wait for an improved traffic system in Sibu will soon be over with the implementation in stages of a new traffic system in five critical areas.
Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) deputy chairman Daniel Ngieng said the critical areas were Sungai Merah-Ding Lik Kong, Khoo Peng Loong Road-Channel Road, Farley-Sing Kwong, Ling Kai Cheng Road-Deshon Road-Kwong Ann Road, Brooke Drive-Tuanku Osman Road-Keranji Road and Jaya Li Hua Commercial Centre-Pahlawan.
