A 49-year-old man was sentenced to six years’ jail and three strokes of the rotan after he was found guilty of robbing a man of RM3,000 by the Sessions Court in Kuching.
Judge Timothy Finlayson yesterday convicted Khairudin Amir under Section 394 of the Penal Code for committing robbery on Sept 19 last year in front of a supermarket in Satok and causing hurt to the 24-year-old victim.
