Council to teach food operators on making garbage enzymes


THE Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) is involving food businesses in environmental conservation by getting them to make garbage enzymes from leftover food.

SMC Public Health, Environment and Municipal Service standing committee chairman Tong Hing Lee said the council together with the Sibu Coffeeshop and Restaurant Owners Association and Sarawak Art of Living, a non-governmental organisation, would hold an awareness talk on garbage enzymes this Sunday at the Public Library in Sibu.
