A total of 8,000ha of the Rantau Panjang Forest Reserve and Bukit Tarek Forest Reserve in Hulu Selangor been enroached into, Hulu Selangor Land Office district officer Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan said.
Nor Hisham said no development was allowed in the two forest reserve areas and the forestry department did not do anything to stop the encroachment.
