Parade lends colour to city

THOUSANDS of people lined the streets in George Town in Penang to watch what was touted as the country’s biggest float procession held in conjunction with the Nine Emperor Gods Festival.

Thirty-five beautifully decorated floats took part in the procession which began from the Tow Boo Keong Temple on Hong Kong Street and passed through 14 streets before returning to the temple.
