A total of 204 cheap sale notices were issued in Sarawak since the amended Trade Descriptions (Cheap Sale Price) Regulations came into force on Aug 11, 2010.
Domestic Trade, Coorperative and Consumerism Ministry Sarawak director Wan Ahmad Uzir Wan Sulaiman said the amendments were to ensure that the ‘cheap sales’ promoters did not deceive the public.
