OPERATORS of coffee shops and restaurants on Penang island are putting their customers at risk by not having their workers vaccinated against typhoid.
Penang municipal councillor Ong Ah Teong said that in the first eight months of the year, the council issued summonses to 418 eateries whose workers were not given anti-typhoid jabs.
