Ministry to raise public awareness to reduce the usage of plastic bags

DOMESTIC Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Ministry will be going all out to raise public awareness to reduce the usage of plastic bags next year in a nationwide No-Plastic Bag campaign.

Deputy Minister Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim said among others, the campaign would introduce oxo-biodegradable (ODB) bags to traders and consumers as a green solution to slowly replace plastic bags.
