SARAWAK’s pua kumbu silk swept the top three awards in the ikat-weaving category of the Asean Silk Fabric and Fashion Design Competition in Thailand last month.
The top prize in the category was won by Bangie Embol, an acknowledged master-weaver from Rumah Garie in Sungai Kain, Ulu Kapit.
