PEKAN: Rubber smallholders in peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak will be receiving higher financial assistance to help them in replanting the commodity starting from this month.
In announcing the good news, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the present aid of RM7,000 to smallholders in peninsular Malaysia would be increased to RM9,230 for the next five years.
