GEORGE TOWN: Penang Gerakan Youth has called on Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to expedite the asset declaration of state executive councillors to manifest the state government’s Competency, Accountability and Transparency (CAT) mantra.
Citing state exco members Chow Kon Yeow and Wong Hon Wai, who came under public scrutiny for allegedly owning “luxury homes” in Balik Pulau here as examples, its Youth chief Oh Tong Keong said the issue would not have come about if the assets of exco members, including Lim’s, had been declared earlier.
